your liver is a toxin filter for all kind off stuff. Drugs, Med's, Bacterias, Viren and parasites. The elevation of the liver enzymes and their isoenzymes means your liver has tissue that is damaged and needs to be investigated. If people ignore that they may end up on the organ transplant list. Being tired and having stomach pain goes along with a yellowish color of your skin and the white portion of your eyes!!!

i was told my enzymes were high also and i was suppose to get an ultra sound and a cat scan of the liver but had to change my appt so i'm still waiting . the dr said it could be from taking alot of Tylenol or pain pills etc . or from certain drugs .i would like to let you know the reason as soon as i get mine done I'm kind of scared but the Dr said it wasn't like the one disease you get from drinking he said it wasn't nothing to be alarmed about but wanted to find out the reason so .good luck if i find out first i'll let you know and vise versa.

sounds like a liver issue to me regardless if you have yellowing of the skin or eyes. usually if your yellow that indicates acute hepatitis....

however, if you have chronic hepatitis or liver disease you won't notice a change in skin tone or will your eyes be yellow all the time.

best thing to do is get tested for infection...bacterial or viral
and it proably wounldn't hurt to be tested for hereditary liver disease such as NASH....(not all cases of NASH are genetic)

good luck to you.

sounds like liver disease to me, but could be something else...get tested for HCV, HBV and go from there....

an elevation in enzymes and being tired all the time are two symptoms of HCV or HBV.
