I'm planning on asking someone to homecoming, but there never seems to be a good time to ask. Girls travel in packs, and I don't get why. So how do you get to talk to one in private, without stalking her or ripping her away from her friends while they're talkin?

Write her a letter asking her to speak with you. If she doesnt respond it will save you from a heartbreak from asking. Or get creative you dont have to ask her you can spell it out on her locker and give her clues to who you are makes it exciting and show a true effort. GOOD LUCK

A pesonal note ought to do it. Or just say hey (name here) can I talk with you a moment or 2 alone? If she says yes find a spot and let her know straight up. If not move on and find one who will. I know it's hard. Girls travel in packs for group support women are like that. And to well honestly gossip about us guys who they hate or like or wanna well even girls get sexual some times who they like and wanna bang etc. Guys got it easy in that area. You'd never see a heard of men hanging out in a bathroom LOL.

I would ask her if you can talk to her alone. Or better yet try to meet her outside of school , you could call her on the phone(when her friends won't be around). I think girls travel in packs for security or maybe to have others to chat with (because everyone knows that most girls like to talk). It's just easier, but yes it definately makes it harder for guys to approach.

That is a tough one. If you can get to her before a pack gathers (preferably early in the morning) tell her you want to talk to her about something and go to your locker (if it isn't crowded) or an excluded place. It is hard to get us away from the pack, but it's possible. Smile at her a lot when you see her, and if you hear she's going to see a movie or something, make sure you go to it. You may just get your chance then, excluded, right? :) Overall, don't be intimidated by friends. If a guy asked me out infront of my friends I wouldn't care. Especially if I liked him! <3 Yay!

call her. or slide her a note saying to meet u somewhere at a certain time or be bold and say " hey (put girl name here) can i speak to u for a second?" If she likes u she will gladly leave her friends to talk to u

pass her a note or have one of your friends to pass her a note to meet you by the drink machine...or try to get her phone number.

eventhough they are in packs, you could approach her and ask if you could talk to her privately

then if she says yes. ask her if you could ask her a question...... and tell her it's rather personal........ she should get the hint
