What clippers do you recommend are the best for grooming a variety of dogs? What brand and what combs, blades, cordless or not cordless?

Price isn't a problem if they are worth it. Please share you personal opinions.

Thanks

I personally like Andis super 2 speed. Blade, I like Geib Buttercuts. Comb? Do you mean attachment combs that go on the clipper? If so, I like Romani's. Wahl has a new metal snap on comb set that I hear alot of groomers like..I havent used them..yet.

Other good clippers would be Oster A5, Wahl KM2, Laube Lightenings. Stay away from Laube, Top Performance, and Klean Kut blades..junk! Wahl blades are good. Oster and Andis blades I use to love, but their quality has really gone down hill.

What size blades depends on what you are doing. If you are doing just a shavedown on your own dog, all you would need would be a 7F and a 10 or 15. If you are becoming a groomer, I would recomend getting 2 each of...10 or 15, 4, 5, 5F, 7F, and 3 3/4 to get you started.
