16! That's when I started and was mature and wise enough to handle a relationship and deal w/ heart break. I think this is the perfect age because it gives u time for experience and makes u prepared for future relationships.

I started when i was 14 but i wish i would have waited till i was 16.
The guy i dated when i was 14 was 17 and took advantage of me... The guy im with now is incredible and mature and im mature enough to know he actually wants me for more then his own personal use.

My mom didn't let me start dating until I was 16 and I plan on doing that with my own kids.

not earlier than 16. you have to sort of know who you are first. And at 16 I would go on dates in groups, it's more fun and you get to know a lot more people at once.
