My personal belief is no, under no circumstances should children be allowed to be legally abandoned by their parents, but others at work do not agree. What is your opinion?

no and children should not be able to divorce there parents this is the silliest thing that I have ever heard of. one how can you divorce your kids or parents you have to be married for a divorce

if a child is abused by a parent/ parents then that is a very sad thing indeed and I hope that all the children that are been abused by there parents are able to get help and get away. but this is not a divorce.

the same with parents that are having trouble or been abused by
there kids some parents may choose to dis-own there kids/teen
adult kids but this also is not divorce. So yes either party can walk
away from there family's but to divorce what was the courts. Thinking when this one came about.

On the surface I would say no, but I know people who should because their kid causes them great grief, fear even. And they are beyond the beyond. Advice is to not critize other parents till you have walked in their shoes...I am sure they have done all they are humanly capable of. I had a nephew who OD on oxycontine after 4 atempts and left 5 kids fatherless. His father said on his death, "I'm glad it is over.' Everyone is doing better as he is not around anymore to suck up their lives and tear on their emotions. It is what it is.

They are doing that already. Except it's not a divorce like a man and women. It's other ways.

No way. They chose to have them, right? Now they have to take care of them or accept them for who they are and whatever they have done. What on earth do the people at your work say??

Of course NOT.

When you choose to have a baby, it's YOURS. FOREVER. Don't get pregnant if you don't want to follow through when the going gets tough.

Nope, you're stuck with them. Unless they do something horribly wrong and end up in jail, then they are no longer your responsibility.

No, children are parents' obligation.
