HERE'S YOUR ANSWER! I had a friend with the same problem back in school. And after prom I said to him "How did you pull it off? I thought she said she did not want to ruin the friendship the two of you shared." He replied simple, you take two potatoes and put them in your pants.........Later in life I tried the same thing, just to be utterly embarrassed, and slapped! At our 5 year reunion, he had married the girl. And I reminded him of the potato trick, he scolded me and said " The potato's go in the front of your pants, Idiot!".... Very embarrassing, don't tell anybody!

You are half way there, she is your friend so it should be easy to ask, and she want you to ask her,you don't need Q. to bring up the subject just go straight to her and do it before Mr. "good looking can have any girl I want"... ask her

Why the change of heart? Let her realize that she could have had you before but she blew it. Find someone who will be happy to be with you, not just when it's convienent for her.

Don't beat around the bush. Just ask her. When you get older, you'll wish you hadn't wasted so much time go around subjects.
