What is "Redentor"...its a spanish word..?

Im not sure, but I think it has something to do with god......or maybe im confusing it with another one!!

As in "Holy Redeemer" ("Santo Redemptor")

in italian as well, the big church on the entrance to the Canale Grande in Venice is calle Redentore

Yep, it means redeemer (same in Portuguese too).
