Everyday, everywhere I go, on every weblog I have I am constantly persecuted and harrassed by Christains evangelizing and trying to convert me. Everytime I sign on to MySpace, I have 15-30 messages telling me that I am going to forever burn in hell, or people praying for me, and all this nonsense. I do not, what so ever belief in "Jesus" or the beliefs that surround that. I actually oppose some of the teachings that are taught in the church. It has gotten to the point that I am going find out the people leaving me messages, and sending me mail, getting their names and addresses and pressing charges. I am getting sick and tired of people telling me that I have issues because of my name (razorblade_love) when they do not even know me. I have recieved bloody razors in the mail, and I think it is from a local church, because the postage is a non profit organization. Anyone telling me as an answer, that I need to belief in God, and all that bullshit will be reported.

Ok, I have NOT gaven out my address, I do not have hatered against Christains, I am actually taught to have alot of reliegeous tolerance. I don't HATE Christains at all, I am just sick and aggrivated, about they way I have been treated for my OWN PERSONAL beliefs. I DID NOT make up anything about the razors. I don't have any personal information on myspace or my website. All people know is my nick name, razor. I can't move. I still live with my parents and am under age. My parents have changed the phone number, and I have changed my yahoo ID several times, along with spam and junk email.

You definitely need to find a way to report that.

You are definitely being harrassed if you are getting bloody razors in the mail. I don't know what the connection is between your screen name and why you have it, or how your local church would know anything about your personal life, and I hate to be a downer but the police are probably going to be little or no help. People who are being stalked by an actual person they can SEE can't get any help, much less some annonymous e-mails and razors in the mail. Good luck, and check with myspace about blocking people, or unfortunately you may have to change your screen name to get some peace

Here's a serious answer.

You know these people really believe you will roast like a luau pig forever and ever as their torturer God bastes you with molten sulphur for not telling how pretty He is unless they can convince you to repent and be converted.

Though they all swear the Bible is 100% true they don't really believe Romans 8:29 "For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified." They've probably not even read it.

They think they can do God's work for Him, in fact their God would just be helpless to accomplish His eternal will without their assistance, and since God is too weak and His arm to short to work His will in your life, they are working on you on His behalf.

Now I can't find a single line in scripture that says "hound people into the Kingdom of Heaven!" but apparently some have that line in their Bible. It's probably 1 Bubba 3:29 or some such. But I know that a lot of them mean well, others think it earns them crowns in heaven or some nonsense, and many just love to denigrate non-believers in the pretense they are battling for your soul when they are just taking opportunity to kick you in the crotch in jesus name. They gossip about each other all the time under the guise of asking someone to "pray for poor sister MaryAnn who's having an affair with that real estate agent with the awful toupee!"

But the police aren't going to do anything about members of the majority religion harassing you with anything short of mailing you dead animals and threatening to kill you. If you have a problem with Moslems you can get all the help you need.

My advice, toss it in the email trash unopened and move on. Things like the razors, involve the cops.

If they are sending you what appears to be bloody razors in the mail, I would report it to the postmaster of your local post office and to the police. I posted a site about threatening or dangerous materials from the US Post Office. I believe that is a threat and not legal. The police will let you know for sure.

As for the e-mails, if you are getting many from one or more addresses, you may want to report them for abuse. Especially if they are getting threatening. MySpace has this option I assume??

Whether you believe in God nor not is your decision. I dont like it when people force their believes on me either. I happen to believe in God, but I do not trust churches. If you think it's coming from a specific source it could be construed as harassment, but again check with the police. The internet is still one of those grey areas when it comes to what is harassment or not. They are trying not to step on anyone's free speech. I am sorry that you are being bothered like you are( and I am a Christian) I don't think you should be bothered like you are for what you wish to believe.

Other than the mail you received at your home, there is not a lot you can do about it. You change your settings on myspace to allow only your friends to message you. I don't believe it is harassment in any sense of the word. I would classify it as spam. If you try reporting it to law enforcemen(please don't waste our tax dollars doing this) they will do nothing about it. I am christian, but even I do not agree with sending you razors in the mail, or a lot of other things the hardcore Christians do for that matter. I believe it is everyones choice to believe in God or not, and they are the ones who will be responsible for that choice, not me, so why should I care?

It is harassment, because there are many paths to heaven. If you are recieving things in the mail, contact the postal inspector, it is a federal offense to use the postal system for what you describe. The number on the non profit organization's permit will identify the source of the mail, and the FBI be glad to pay them a visit. Meanwhile, just clear your mind by meditation and prayer, and listen for the answers you are looking for. Do not give up on whatever your faith is because of the actions of idiots!

Yes I would define reapeated attempts to "convert" you as harrassment.

In my opinion only 4 ways to handle it

1. Actually convert (this is the most foolish option)

2. Ignore the problem (easy to do....just tedious)

3. Report the offence to authorities (good luck proving harrassment on religious groups and good luck on it stopping )

4. Convert them (this is by far the best way to go about it, and the most fun. Remember that you are on the side of reason and right. With millions of years of science and evolution to back you up. You have 1000s of religions to choose from when defending any position.)

When someone asks you what religion you are simply let them know you are still learning about the beliefs of everyone around the world.

What I am saying is .....don't let it get to you... cause they are all beneath you on that level. If anything, show pity for them for they are lost. Show them the errors of there ways. Be kind and couteous and confident (they really do not know how to del with this...for they pray on the weak minded....they are at their best when they feel a level of religious superiority. They have that power and belief in their god and it gives them supreme confidence. You must possess this confidence as well....they do not know how to deal with it. They will usually end up telling you that they do not know much and are still learning. Either way they will not bother you anymore.

Its always good to look at some websites about contradictions in the bible (they HATE this. Remember all you have to do is get them to believe ONE contradiction and the whole book and their beliefs fall to pieces.....lol)

I would also recommend reading about other religions no matter what you believe.

Good luck

bloody razors? That IS harassment and I would be concerned as they know where you live.

About people trying to change to your faith/ideals/etc:
You should try ranch dressing on your french fries. Is that harassment? Is it only harassment if 15 people say you should try it? Those poor bastards actually believe they are trying to help you. Am I going to go after the 1000 people who think I need Canadian Online Drugs? No. You just have to live with it on the net. The razors though are physical evidence, thus carry alot more weight with any law enforcement agencies.

I believe it is harrassment and they are wrong. Although i do not necessarily agree with your beliefs, i do not agree with theirs either. As for the bloody razorblade, that is rididculous and should be reported to someone who can take action. I guess the only advice i can give you is to think about why you are averse to them. I find that most people don't like Christians because they are closed minded and hypocritical. Just be sure that you are not ultimately becoming the thing you dislike... keep your mind open when people try to explain their beliefs to you in a loving, respectful way (you don't need to listen to anything else) and try to see things from their perspective, as you would like for them to do. I don't mean suddenly change your mentality. But there is always room for education and understanding.

If you were to take these Born Again Christians to court you would be giving them a very large stage from which they will be able to spread the Gospel of Grace that they Preach. Your friends would probable be very unhappy with you when all is said and done.
The old saying "If you can't beat them, Join them" might be a better course of action. Your friends would be mad at you but for a different reason. You would have a chance to go to Heaven and they haven't made that choice. They will think that you are trying to draw attention to yourself and that will make them even angrier.

We run into religious lunatics/hypocrites everyday. They seem to think that just because it's done in some gods name it's ok.
I would charge these people as far as the law allows.

I am Pagan and also do not believe in an evil being the Christian god. Neither do I believe in the being satan. However I will protect the right of every man/woman to believe as they want. As long as they equally respects others choice.
So I say again do your best to prosecute these criminals that harass you. Good luck.
