The brainwashed "thoughts" that they have are not thoughts at all and are therefore not worthy of consideration by a freethinker.

For the same reason crazy people kill their pets...because the voice of god told them.

Actually, thoughts being a form of consciousness and all, technically they do HAVE them, they just aren't their own.

Brainwashed? Where did you get your info that God isn't real? Did He tell you Himself? (LOL) No, you got it from other peoples ideas and opinions that were passed on (pushed on) and handed down to you. Who the one not thinking?
I am a logical person, I tend to take things apart. Have I ever wondered? Yes, of course, who hasn't? But, I am smart enough to figure out to that all this was designed. Only someone supernatural could have done such a fantastic job. I haven 't heard of any new worlds just "banging around" out there. Haven't had anything, other than crawfish, come up out of my creek lately. No monkeys have turned into a human at any zoo that I know of.... Science says that for a theory to be a fact, it has to be proven. Go prove anything but a Supreme Design. You can't, therefore, they are still a hypothesis, which means - someones guess.
If you were really the thinker, you could figure out that you are a miracle, your body is a complex structure with all your organs working together, keeping you alive without your even trying... all by design. Even if you were all there was, God would still have created you. But you aren't. Think about the earth, how does it spin up there without falling out into space, or into the sun? I mean, where did gravity come from? Why do we have it, and the moon doesn't really have any? Think about how nature doesn't need our help...the clouds, the rain, the rivers, the way the seasons all have their purpose, and come in their time...Think about the small flower petals, the delicate butterfly's wings, a snowflake, each one was designed, the universe.... shall I go on? No, God doesn't have to be proved, I just feel sorry for the ones who don't know how kind and wonderful He is. I wish everyone could experience Him as He is... my Friend and Father.
Sorry for your loss. (Not knowing Him.)

Just because someone is religious doesn't make them different than you. You can freely say what you want and so can people of faith. Because you do not believe, or support their choice doesn't mean you have a right to insult them.

My feeling is that people who follow Christianity are the "freethinkers." Not the people (as yourself) who refuse to believe and follow what all of society says.

Freethinking is going against or contradicting what most people think, say and believe. With almost 6 billion people in the world about 2.1 billion believe in Christianity.

You my friend, are not the minority of "freethinkers."

What are these brainwashed "thoughts" you are talking of? And what makes a freethinker any better than a Christian? So you're presumably a freethinker - big deal! Go well, and God Bless!

The process of thought is the result of thinking. All people think, whether religious or not, consequently all people have thoughts. Some fail to realize the difference between rational and irrational thoughts. Some cannot even compose an intelligent question.

You have contradicted yourself, twice, I think. Oh, there I go again - thinking!
I thought a lot about life and religion and God before I became a Christian.
Now I think a lot about those, who are not Christians, and wonder why they don't want to be saved.
You obviously are drawn towards us Christians and Christianity, even if it is in anger. Think about it. Why is this? Don't you think you are searching for the truth and can't find it anywhere else?

I hope this helps and God Bless you:>)

i respect your question but is it truly that we are brainwashed or is it that we are lead by the proper leader to guide us where we have no idea whats a head of us ever!
thank you do very much!
i guess what I'm trying to say is free thinkers don't believe in laws of nature either so why do they breath i don't understand why they haven't invented water and air ,sky and sun yet? You know this baffles all religious folks like me -really it do! You see!
so that what free thinkers think is not worthy of us religious spiritual worshipers of the one true only Allah (swt)!

Huh???? Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question...

Are you saying that religious people don't have brains to think? And if so, than how can they have "thoughts" if they don't have a brain? And how can a "thought" (which is a thing) be brainwashed??

I'm confused............Were you taking shots and writing at the same time?

I know a few Christian freethinkers. Generally, they attend Churches that support a more liberal interpretation of t Scripture. These churches support same-sex marriage, polyamory in some cases, and inclusivist theology.

You sound like a very close minded person. Get help. If you were as much of a free thinker as you think you are, you would think like you were in their shoes. Stop acting like such a bit** and open your eyes to the real world.
