I have been with my man for a long time now. I know he loves me, I don't question that. We just got back from a wonderful Jamaican Vacation and I couldn't be happier. That was until I started going through all the pictures. I don't find myself unattractive by any means. I am very confident and happy with what God has gave me, but I have also put on 15 extra lbs. I am trying to loose the weight but haven't been proactive with it. I am starting to as of now, but do you think this might make my boyfriend not happy with me. He says he likes that my boobs got bigger and that I have a bigger butt, but I'm not physcially happy with myself anymore. I want to tone up, but he says he doesn't want me skinny again, expect to maybe loose the belly. Am I making something out of nothing or is this an issue I should really consider. Will he still be attracted to me if I were to loose my curves?

I know how you feel...I have a supportive man too, but do what makes you happy. If you don't feel attractive, then eventually he will start to agree with you. Sounds like you have a good man. Sounds like he loves you no matter what and that is a rare quality to find in a man, especially when it comes to weight issues. Try weight watchers, I am doing it now and it is working, although slowly...very slowly. Do what is going to make you feel good, because it will be him (and you), that will pay the price for your unhappiness. (and, 15 lbs ain't so bad), I put on about 20 and my man is super supportive of the weight loss, but doesn't ride me about it and tells me I am the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. He doesn't mind the weight, but I want to be hot for him, so I am working on dropping the weight. I am miserable with this 20 pounds, but I have a great man to support me. I think your man will still love you no matter what.

I would say that you don't really sound very secure - and I am not saying that to be mean in any way. Through out your question you say you are happy, then unhappy, then you want to make your boyfriend happy. It really comes down to one thing: Are you comfortable? Does the weight make you feel unhealthy? does it interfear with your normal life? Does it stop you from doing things you love? If you say no to that then don't worry about it. And definitly don't try to make your body measure up to what you IMAGINE your boyfriends expectations to be. 15lbs shouldn't make a big differance in your relationship - - - if it does you have larger issues than your weight. . .

Do it for yourself. Do exercises that'll tone your body the way you want it. Remember a healthy diet to lose weight is always the best. Stay away from these fad diets. He loves you no matter how you look as long as you don't go to extremes. If 15lbs is too skinny for him, then 10-12 lbs should be perfect.
What woman likes herself in pictures, especially swimsuits or bikinis, I know I sure don't like to see myself in those pictures.

If your boyfriend is happy with you, and his only concern is to "except MAYBE lose the belly" then I don't see a problem with it. If it really bothers you, maybe you can try some ab exercises to get a better figure and keep both yourself and your boyfriend happy.
It sounds like you're making too much out of it; don't beat yourself up over the extra pounds.

You can tone up and not lose your curves, you just have to chose your exercises wisely with your problem areas, and make sure to do cardio as well as eat a decent diet.
If you aren't happy with yourself, then change the way you look. I personally to think it is more important to be happy with yourself than stay unhappy.

If you're not comfortable, then lose a few pounds so you'll be more confident.
I'm sure your boyfriend loves you just as much with or without the extra 15lbs. Don't lose it for him, do it for yourself.

As a skinny, but curvy woman myself, I would hope that all men would prefer a little meat on their woman's ribs. I'm very curious to read your other answers.
