As a Hodgkin's lymphoma sufferer, i do know all too good what paranoia is. At any time when I get the slightest bump, i am at my oncologists' place of job. Conclude up your treatments and see how you feel in a few days. If they're still swelled or get bigger, go to a doctor immediately. Often lymph nodes will remain swelled up for weeks after you have an illness, however do not be too passe about it. I waited for months to search scientific recommendation, considering i might be great. Sooner or later, I aroused from sleep barely able to maneuver and the nodes in my neck had been all swollen solve, it looked like I had a goiter. I let my melanoma go goodbye that it grew to be very aggressive and i'm already in my 2d relapse in less than a year. My wager, is they're going to do more blood work and probably an X-ray to make certain you do not have swollen nodes for your chest. If that each one looks clear, they would attempt to do a needle biopsy of one among your neck nodes, and have a pathologist look it over. Don't worry your self sick, however don't blow it off both.

The lymph nodes produce white blood cells, so lymphoma hinders the body's immune system. Lymph nodes are scattered throughout the body, ranging from under the armpits and under the lower jaw (adnoid glands swell up if someone has the mumps), to behind the collarbones and in the groin. Ever had a blister that oozed a clear liquid when you lanced it? That liquid is lymphatic fluid.

Lymph nodes are where all your white cells generate in your body. White cells fight off infections. Any cancer is serious and should never be taken lightly.

My husband had non-hodegkins lymphoma. He is currently in remission. He went thru chemo and radiation. It is a very fast speading cancer that affects the lymph nodes around your whole body. It is a tough fight, but easier if caught and treated as soon as possible. If you are asking for yourself or a loved one, my thoughts are with you!

Unfortunately once cancer has reached the lymph nodes it is pretty far advanced.

Usually cancer starts out in one place.
In my case it spread from my uterus to one of my ovaries. That was stage 3A. If it hadn't been caught it could have spread to my vagina or abdomen and eventually to my lymph nodes.

This is an awful question to have to answer. You have most of the right answers. I lost 3 Aunts from cancer. Only knew one! Loved her and thought of her as my second Mom. She died from Hodgkin's cancer. All she asked of life was to live to see her 2 children grown---- she almost made it.

If you are asking for yourself...please get help! If you are asking for a loved one....please pray for them and tell them to get help a soon as possible. The lymph system is the worse place for cancer because that's your RX system. It takes care of you.

I'll say a prayer! God Bless

I only know of lymphocarcoma in cats and it was fatal, so I wouldn't take this lightly. Talking to a doctor is your best bet.
