The first person stated that getting pregnant was considered to be a mistake. I think that spilling a cup of milk is a mistake because you didn't mean to spill it and would have tryed to stop it from spilling.
Getting pregnant is a choice that people make. Whether they wanted to get pregnant or not, it is still a choice that is made with a person has sex. There isn't a birth control that is 100% effective, so therefore, when a person has sex there is a chance to get pregnant and the person make the choice to stop, or to have sex.

My husband and I were married already before I got pregnant and I was on birth control and wadda ya know I got pregnant. It was an accident but it was also a big surprise. My husband and I couldnt be happier about our son being born a year ago. Also you have to understand something that a lot of people dont, God isnt going to give you something you cant handle. If people had more faith I guess there would be less lusting and aborting. Also on the other hand God did give us freedom to make our own desicions so let it be- because you will drive yourself crazy trying to understand everyone. Just worry about you and thats all you can do, sorry if I sounded rude but Im not trying to be.

It's common knowledge that sperm+egg=baby so it's not an accident unless it was a rape. People are like oh the condomn broke it was an accident didn't they ever read the package 99% effective not 100. There's still a chance and they're taking that gamble not having back up protection.

No pregnancy is an accident! Heck, I have 3 kids, every one of them planned. If I didn't want to get pregnant then I didn't and when I wanted to I did. It's that simple. With all of the contraception today there is no such thing as a pregnancy accident.
(Also I have never used any birth control in my life besides condoms and self control)

Its just a bunch of kids who don't want to take responsibility for their own actions. You don't see many adults having abortions, do you?
I'm not trying to debate abortion, I'm just saying that my generation isn't responsible and just decides to take the easy way out of pretty much everything. We're worse than the MTV generation.
Yes, I agree that getting pregnant is not an accident. It isn't like you tripped over something. Now rape is a different story.

My kids were "surprises." That doesn't mean I "didn't think I would get pregnant." I knew there was a chance because birth control isn't 100% effective. As for the rest, their father and I are VERY committed to each other. Just remember, God doesn't make mistakes.

Accidental pregnancys are rape or a broken condom, or other form of protesction gone wrong. It can happen my parents used protection and still had my brother. Accidents really can happen. Protection is not 100% guranteed. But caught up in the heat of the moment is not an accident. It is pure neglect and irresponsibility!
