Mix 1/2 cup of Applesauce, 1/2 cup of Prune juice and 1 T of Metamusil (sp?) and drink it everyday. My co-worker has a lot of issues with that and she said that she used this and everything came out smooth.

Be sure that you are eating enough fiber. I personally like prunes (they can cause gas but will relieve you every time), and dates are great since they taste like candy and are very high in dietary fiber.

If you ever find yourself in need, you can always drink a solution of 1 part epsom salt to 4 parts water. This will do the trick in about a half hour.

If you eat adequate fiber on a daily basis, you will find you won't have the problem of constipation, nor will you be faced with problems associated with prolonged constipation in the future.

1st thing when u get up, 6oz water and half a fresh lemon squeezed. It works really well. You can use a little sugar or fake sugar if you don't like the pucker. Drink it all down, wait 30 mins to eat or drink anything else.

Try getting more fiber in you diet. 2/3 cups of all-bran buds is 100% of the fiber you'll need in one day. Add a pear at lunch and eat your peas and you won't be constipated anymore.

Your Physician should instruct you what to use. Fiber is a very important part of the diet. I use bran cereal
and that works just fine. You will find a lot fiber in fruits vegetables, seeds and nuts.

Definitely consider cantaloupe (or any other melon due to high water content), prune juice, a diet high in fiber for a natural solution.

Foods that are high in fiber can help in the treatment of constipation, hemorrhoids, diverticulitis and irritable bowel syndrome. Dietary fiber may also help lower your cholesterol, and reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes and certain types of cancer.

Dried apricots always work for me.

Eating certain foods (carrots, prunes, etc.) may help, but it may hurt if your stomach is especially sensitive.

Milk of magnesia is gentler on the stomach and you may find this in grocery store.

hope you feel well soon.
