All 12 step related programs are FREE. If anyone tries to charge you and they are using the name of alanon or other 12 step programs you should report them to the appropriate program via that programs website. I do not know off hand of any. But I have a wealth of 12 step referrals that I can check for you. I will either come back here with an edit, or I will email you the links. In the meantime, if you need to talk, feel free to email via the link on my profile.
Here are some links. Take a look around, I am sure you will find what you need. Yes there are many 12 step groups at yahoo, however my experience has been that these are not necessarily recovery based, they are full of 12 steppers who have just come to bs, which is ok and fun. But you also find many non 12 steppers who come in trying to cause drama or "chat up" the girls.
