most fresh vegetables you can eat raw pickled or not unless you are watching your sodium intake you should be able to eat them with no problem

Pickled anythings usually have a high sodium content, which may make you retain water. "Pickles and relishes have some nutritive value, contain little or no fat, and, except for the sweet type, are low in calories. ", sounds like a diet food to me..
