Sorry, I don't know how to make picky eaters. Do you and your son like graham crackers and pudding? Here's a unique recipe, I think you'd both like. lISA'S COOKIE WEDDING CAKE:
8 small packages chocolate pudding mix (or 5 larger ones.)
2 1/2 quarts milk
2 one pound boxes of graham crackers
a 4 qt mixing bowl
Whipped cream (store bought or home made.)
Read the yield on the pudding packages- it should be 2 cups per package, if you make it according to the package directions. You can also use sugar free instant. If you do 5 larger ones, use 2 cups milk.
Line the inside of your bowl with long strips of plastic wrap, to fold back over the top, when the cake is finished.
Cover the bottom of the bowl with graham crackers, all the way to the sides. You can break them in halves or quarters if you want, but overlapping is ok, too.
Make the first 2 packages of pudding using 2 1/2 cups milk, not the 4 cups called for in the package directions. Pour approximately a third of the pudding over the crackers in the bowl. Gently spread it out with a rubber spatula (it dosen't have to be perfectly smooth, just wildly uneven.)
Put another layer of graham crackers on top (just like an eclair cake only in a bowl.) on top of the pudding in the bowl. (again, don't worry about getting it perfectly smooth.) Put half of remainging pudding on top of the 2nd layer of crackers; spread it out to cover them!
Lay down another graham cracker layer and top with remaining pudding. Spread outthe pudding and put another layer of crackers (don't bother cleaning the bowl, yet.). Using another two boxes of pudding mix and anohter 2 1/2 cups milk or cream, make a second batch of pudding. There are now more graham crackers to to cover, since the bowl is wider. Use half of the( 2nd batch of) pudding to cover the crackers (kids used to say quackers.) smooth the pudding, lay down another layer of graham crackers , cover it with remaining pudding, and top with more graham crackers.
Now make a third batch of pudding, the same way you made the previous two batches. Put half on top of the crackers in the bowl, spread it out, and top with more graham crackers. Now use the rest of the pudding and top with graham crackers.
One more time! (bear with me.) Make final batch of pudding the same way, as the previous 3 batches.Spread half over the crackers, smooth it, and cover with graham crackers. Put rest of pudding, smooth it, and this time cover it with a double layer of graham crackers. Wasn't that fun? Even if you don't bake, you can make this. Fold edges of platic wrap to cover the contents of the bowl. Find a plate that will fit inside the bowl (?) om top of the cake. Put it ibn right side up so that it will push the cake cake down when it settles. Set a weight on top of plate (can of fruit or something like that. Not the lifting kind!) Refrigerate the cake. When ready to serve it, remove the weight and plate, peel back the plastic wrap, and center a serving platter, right side down, over top of bowl. Invert the bowl, lift it off, and peel the plastic off.
Frost with Whipped cream or Cool Whip.
Chicken Ritz Recipe
I love this recipe because it's so easy to throw together and takes no time to serve. It's a half hour in the oven and it's ready. It can be prepared a day ahead of time for those busy people, just keep it refrigerated. It's served best with cranberry sauce to the side or just spread on top of it after its cooked..it's yummy!!
2 lbs boneless chicken breasts (as much as you'd like to prepare)
1/2 cup butter, melted (I use one stick for about 4 chicken breasts)
2 packages of ground-up Ritz crackers
4 servings
1. Cut off all unecessary fat from chicken breasts.
2. If breasts are thick, cut in half so you butterfly them.
3. Pound down with a mallet so they're not too thick, but not paper thin either.
4. Dip the breasts in your melted butter, both sides.
5. Dip the buttery breasts into the ritz cracker crumbs, on both sides and press firmly so the crumbs really stick to it.
6. Place on a cookie sheet in oven set at 350* for 15 minutes on both sides.

Gee, could you get more vague?
What is this eater picky about? Are there food allergies or simply dislikes involved? Does this person not like burnt water?
A little more info would be good.

If it is for a child, try making things fun, and nutritious, like bugs on a log, celery stick filled with peanutbutter, or lowfat creamcheese with raisin "bugs" set on top.
Cheese and trees-broccoli with cheese sauce.
Hot dog octopuses make cuts on a hotdog all the way thru leaving one end uncut, after it is cooked set it on the plate so the legs spred out and use ketchup to make a face on him.
Kids love to dip so you could make a healthy dip and serve with fruit, a good easy one is flavoured yogurt.
or veggies with dip, grilled chicken tenders with dip.
My grandson is picky, and that kid would eat anything he can dip in a sauce of some sort.

it depends on what he likes and dislikes. my son is a picky eater but he does not like sweets. he has to eat eggs for breakfast, does not like bread or chesse so he does not sandwiches. so it just depends on the things he does like and u just have to work with that

ok in my house, picky eaters aren't allowed... they either eat wht is put in front of them, or they go without, and then they can't eat till morning. When they get hungry, they eat, and if they don't eat what is for dinner, they go without. Its either eat what is served, or don't eat at all.

Keep the food as plain as possible. Other than that, they will eat when they are hungry enough. When you make a fuss it becomes a control issue.
