I most definitely believe animals have souls. I know some animals with more "soul" than some people I know. I have a degree in psychology and for 15 years worked with some humans who were monsters. I wouldn't call them "animals" because that would be degrading animals. I am now going to school to become a Veterinary Technician. We humans think we rule the planet, but we are the only "animals" on this planet that kill just for pleasure. The question should be ... Do all humans have a soul?

God has a special reason and place for each of His created beings. Animals, too, are a part of an orderly creation by God. Man, as the highest order of creation, has been given dominion over the animal kingdom (Genesis 1:26-28). We believe that animals were intended for man's enjoyment and use. The Bible itself does not indicate that there is life after death for animals. It may be that God's purpose for animals is fulfilled on this earth. However, if animals would make us happier in heaven, surely there will be a place for them there. Some Bible interpreters have called attention to Isaiah's description of the peace of God's future kingdom where he says that "the wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox" (Isaiah 65:25). Heaven will lack nothing that is good and that will bring glory to God.

Yes all animals have souls and they also have feelings that are more tuned in emotionally than humans they feel us sad sometimes before we feel it and when they pass there is a place I have read about on the internet called the "Rainbow Bridge" that they go to. Look it up you will see how many people they touch.

I believe the higher order animals like apes and dogs have souls and have conscious thought, but I think lower order animals like bees and ants have "instincts".

I do not believe animals have souls. They are part of God's creation and, therefore, are precious in His sight (as they should also be in ours) but God created Man in His image and gave him a soul.

i was told only things that have soul go to heaven which is people..but when we get to heaven we will be not worried about our pets..and so on, i cant imagine leaving a loved one behind tho
