Is sense of humor more important to most women than looks? What about money?

Seems like most girls I have met lately are just shallow as hell.

Go with me here: The girl is going to have to be sexually attracted to you, so looks matter a bit. Sometimes I have met guys who I think, 'okay, he is okay looking' and then after talking to him awhile, I discover that I absolutely love his personality and all the sudden, he is so much cuter. Also, money doesn't normally matter to girls, but you have to be goal oriented. Sorry, but you couldn't pay me to date a guy who I thought was a bum and later in life wouldn't be able to take care of his family. MOST girls don't need extreme riches, but we like to think later in life we will be partners with someone who wants to take care of his family...not be excess baggage.

I think the most important thing to women is confidence. Even if they say it is looks, humor, or money, I'd bet they go for a confident guy over all of these 90% of the time. If you look around high schools and college campuses, the guys most likely to get girls might be ugly, idiotic, and underfinanced, but have self-esteem to spare. Sure, most girls are shallow, and selfish, and so are most guys.

A good sense of humor is so much more important to a woman/girl than money or looks. We would rather have someone who could make us smile through the tears. Someone to find something funny in unlikely things. Money and looks are secondary. Initially, they seem nice, but, a weird, quirky sense of humor is always better. There's more to us, you just gotta look more carefully.

A man has to have a sense of humor....I generally do not go for looks b/c the personality is what is going to seal the deal...and money I do not care about, but he does have to have a job and be responsible with working, I do not plan on supporting another man.

I'd rather be with a man that has a great personality as well as a sense of humor than be with a man that has lots of money. Money is nice, but it isn't everything in a relationship.

Humor and considerateness first.
Then I watch to see if it's genuine.
Money is nice, but a mooch/leech is a definate turn off.
See? Don't have to be rich, just don't be a total bum or an overgrown child who thinks the woman has to cater to his every need and pay his bills.

Women want a guy who can make her laugh and of course we want him hot. Would you date a ugly girl? I don't think so! As for the money, I don't want a guy who is broke and always getting money off of me or expecting me to pay for things. So I don't care if you don't spend your money on me, but I want you to have it to spend on yourself. I once dated a guy who was like, "lets go out for dinner" so I was like, well I'm not that hungry but if you want I'll stop by and let you run in and get something. He said, "never mind I don't have any money". Witch meant he was expecting me to pay for us to go out.

humor, def! (character!) money is no object to me, though i dont like it when someone is just to lazy to do anything or spends lots of money on stupid things. Ah! and i hate stingy guys! i think both should be giving in the relationship, and money should be shared. (so thats why i object to the stupid spending) (ie beer,drugs, cars...)

intelligence is number 1 to me, humour is GREAT though. I would say then looks then money. Money really isn't a thing for me, it's nice but isnt going to make me date someone

a personality is more important than looks, especially money, because if you really like the person so much you will struggle with them, no matter what!!!!
