it is normal for most people to feel faint if they havent eaten in a while. this is due to dropping blood sugar levels. just because your blood sugar level may get low doesnt mean you are diabetic - it just means you have to eat more often and have to eat on a tighter schedule. this may especially happen after you work out as working out burns alot of calories and cuases your sugar levels to drop much quicker than normal. so as soon as you start feeling faint, eat something and you may find the faintness goes away.

Your blood sugar could be low.. definitely call your doctor, ask for an early morning appointment: ask for blood work to be done - blood sugar, to see if you are hypoglycemic - hyperglycemic - diabetic..
It's a fasting appointment - so plan on not snacking late in the evening, or having other than perhaps water in the morning.
Mind you.. my own doctor never believed me when I said what I was going through, how I was feeling, etc.. I landed up in the ER one day.. and even with the results from there, he still refused to hear me.
Eat breakfast - lunch - snack - dinner - snack.. and try to eat always at the same times, everyday.
Good luck sweetie.. I know exactly how you're feeling..

I have also heard that having a little cinnamon (1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon everyday, does help to keep your blood sugar level lower..I use it)
Rich B - I agree!! I did the same thing, with caramel topping. There I was, drenched, shaking, vision burly.. and crying my eyes out. Thankfully, hubby walked in and helped me.. I take metformin twice daily.

No, but it doesn't men you're diabetic. You might just have a poor diet and be eating too much sugar.
You store glycogen in your liver, and should have about 3 days supply there. Its an energy source, and you get it from complex carbohydrates - grains such as oats (porridge, flapjack) wholemeal bread, potatoes, pasta, brown rice, bananas.
Try changing your diet and eating more wholegrain cereals throughout the day. See if you feel better in a couple of weeks.
If you don't feel much better then see your gp or practice nurse for a test. You don't have to go to hospital for this. its very simple. They usually want a urine sample.

No, it's an imbalance in your blood sugars. Try eating a higher protein, lower simple carb/starch lunch. Or nibbling all afternoon on nuts and dried fruits. Then eat sensibly at dinner. Easy on the lattes and/or sweets.

It does sound like your sugar level is dropping a bit.
To be on the safe side I would check yourself in to see the GP or the Practice nurse.

It's low blood sugar and probably just a normal thing. It happens to me all the time when I haven't eaten in a while and I'm normal. You ought to have it checked out anyway, though, just in case.

Sounds like you may be hypoglicaemic. Get it checked. All it means is that you have low blood sugar. It doesn't AUTOMATICALLY mean diabetes. Don't worry.
