Just make sure he has a couple of hours to digest the baby food before a bottle. Or give him the bottle just to wash the food down, not a whole bottle. I haven't heard of a 7 month old that needs to be burped... They can do it themselves at that age. That may have caused the puking.

Not in that manner. My child would get upset and cry until she puked all over me. Does that count?
As for the baby food, you should only spoon feed him until he starts turning his head away. That means he's done. If he's not interested in the bottle after 2 jars of food (turning his head away), don't keep offering it to him.
My youngest, now 21 months, didn't even take solid food until 8 months due to lack of interest.

my son is a huge eater. they say that when children are full, that they will turn away food. my son has never done this. occasionally he will puke, but as long as it's not all the time, you should be fine. he's little tummy is probably just trying to get used to new foods. do not give him a bottle before solid food. at that age, they need to be getting the bulk of their nutrition from food, not formula.

No, sorry, I don't have kids. But, I did have someone puke on me in a car once back in college. We were driving home from the bar when my friend started to feel sick, rolled down the window, and threw up. Well, she didn't quite get her head out far enough, so the wind picked it up and splattered everyone in the back seat. Gross, huh?

Sound's like you're over feeding him. The puking should have been a clue.

Congratulations!! You are not a proper parent until you have wiped a baby's sick off yourself, and still cuddled them whilst covered in it because they were upset.
