Invert the 1/2 to 2/1 then cross multiply:
Ex 2/1 x 3/4 =3/8 (2 x 4 and 1 x 3)
Decimal : 1/2 = 1 Divided by 2 = 0.5
Decimal : 3/4 = 3 Divided by 4 = 0.75
Now take 0.5 x 0.75 = 0.375
