yes, when i was 16 i went on slim-fast. i drank the shakes for breakfast and lunch, but i added ice and a packet of sweet and low and put it in the blender). ate a good dinner. baked chicken, a starch, steamed veggies, and a big salad with light dressing. and throughout the day i snacked on raw brocolli, and made sugar free jello cubes (add a package of knox gelatin when you make it, just add it when you add the jello powder to the hot water) anyway, i went from 160 to 135 in a summer. so like a little less than 10 lbs. a month... totally reasonable, nothing drastic. and i kept it off the rest of my high school years. i loved it, it was tasty and easy. good luck.

Slim Fast can work, it' just depends on how you use it. The biggest thing to remember is that you have to keep excercise in there more often than an hour every 6 days.....do a half hour every morning or every other day. Also check out the actual slim fast website....it will give you great meal plans, excercise plans all based off the information you give on how much weight you want to lose, why you are losing weight, and your interests. It's not going to work. It's full of sugar, which is bad for you, and you lose out on a lot of nutrition that you should get from real food.
I also think you need to exercise less, but more often. Once every six days is not going to be enough. Aim for 30 mins of activity 4-5 days a week to begin with.
Remember to eat protein foods and fibre, so that you stay full.

Your plan may work, but verrrrryyyyy slowly.
If you want to get slim FAST, start getting into a diet with lots of fruits, veggies, and protien. Don't eat the lard off meat (assuming your not a vegetarian) and don't eat the yolk (yellow part) of eggs.
Excersize 6 times a week, for about 30-45 minuets each.
Only eat sweets once a week, with a small amount.
Drink lots of water.
Don't give up.

Sure it works, it's basically a liquid diet, but you're not retraining yourself to eat properly; Go ahead and do it for a couple of weeks, then gain it right back....does not work for the long haul; Try a high protein (about 8-16 oz. of fish or poultry per day, grilled veggies, salads, low fat/no fat dressings you make yourself with lemon/lime/orange juices, various seasonings added(go light on the salt)...Have a regular ice cream or candy a couple of times per week, cut out bread completely and you'll see results very soon; try to stick to about 1000-1200 calories per day...

Slim fast has worked for many dieters quite successfully and then for others with not such great success. Diet is not just down to the plan itself, the individual has to totally commit themselves and stick to all the rules.

slimfast is so gross theres this nasty aftertaste to it it wont work, just eat smaller portions and exercise and drink water of course or flavored water. i tryed slimfast along time ago it was jus so gross
