Read carefully: The media will report anything that will boost their ratings or sell more magazines or newspapers.
Just about anything controversial will accomplish that goal. Stop looking for unbiased news or both sides to any story in the media. When the media finds a topic that people are talking about, story at six, film at nine - even if they don't have anything to add to the story. The use, finally, of the word "invasion" is a perfect example.

Some media is, some still ignore the schools and health care services and spend pages knocking down straw arguments on the fringes of the issues.

And yes, I have noticed the media really reporting on this issue....Mainly saying it is an invasion, but remember, its a mid term election year, they want to report the hot issues and get more ratings, its all about ratings for them....
