Eat right, sleep right, exercise to a degree, and have a positive mental attitude. Pills do nothing to fix the physical and mental defects that cause overly-done weight gain.
Much like having a knife in your side and taking codeine. The codeine does nothing for the knife in your side.
Want a quick suggestion? Do 100 sit-ups immediately before you lie down for bed at night. Even if they are hard at first and you feel like giving up. This will give your metabolism a HUGE boost when you are sleeping and help your burn off weight. I was losing up to 2 pounds a night doing this for the first few days.
Good Luck!

Yes, they are safe IF you use them as directed. The ones with Ephedra work very well and WILL NOT HURT YOU if you use the recommended dosage or LESS. The people that died from Ephedra were completely overdosing on the stuff. Remember the baseball player that died. Well, he took THREE, drank NO WATER and was working out in the HEAT of the day. Using ephedra like that could kill you.
Pills that are "ephedra-free" are worthless, all of them. Ephedra has now been banned again as of 08/21/06, so I would recommend stocking up now. All the stores that carry it still (small health food stores mainly - call around in your area) are still allowed to sell the supplies they have, but they cannot order anymore.
Use the ephedra pills in moderation and you'll be fine. For me, they totally work. I started taking them AFTER I had already changed to a healthy diet and exercise program and they really helped me burn off the last bit of fat I simply couldn't get rid of. Love the stuff! Use it wisely...

The ones that are safe won't do anything, and the rest are dangerous. Anything your purchase over the counter, or at Herbal Magic stores aren't going to do anything but give you a caffeine buzz. Therefore they don't work, they are expensive considering they do nothing, and they can have side effects. Side effects you can expect should be listed on the box, so you know before you purchase them what's going to happen.
Don't bother with them. Eat less, drink more water, and get regular exercise.

i would advise you to go to a store like GNC and ask an employee - they probably know alot of which products are safer than others - be careful cand check their ingredients - if it has ephedrine it may make you very shaky - also diet pills can interact with other medicines and you definitely dont want to take them if youre pregnant

I dont think they are safe, fenfen was thought to be safe then they found it was destroying peoples heart valves. Its better to just exercise more and eat less. Exercise is healthy for you, anyway. So is eating less, and eating unfatty foods.

For a little while i was taking Xenadrine and it made my heart start hurting really bad, and it became hard for me to breathe. I stopped taking the pills and everything went back to normal.

There all a bunch of crap - If you read ingredients you'll find main one is caffiene!
That stuff is so bad - people take it as a SPEED pill!
Might as well just drink coffee, safer, cheaper etc.
