My cat's play fetch with each other.
I woke up one night to some loud noises - I turned on the light in time to see a beanie baby fly through the air and Spike went speeding after it. Chloe sat and waited patiently for Spike to return with it. He sat there for a minute, then suddenly totally spazzed out. Went jumping in the air clawing at the toy the entire time until it became airborn once again and Chloe went speeding after it. I couldn't sleep the rest of the night because I kept laughing :)

He does somersaults in the air when he is happy and full of energy!!! He's a riot!!! Plus another thing he does is he'll run full speed ahead and can't stop as quick and slides all along the kitchen floor!
Cats are wonderful creatures that provide us with plenty of entertainment and joy not to mention love and companionship for most of their natural lives.
What is the craziest and funniest thing your cat does?

If the door to the bathroom lis left half-way open where there is a pretty good size gap between the edge of the door and the door jam, my cat, Sunflower, will sit inthe little corner made by the door and stick his paw out to play with someone. We have always laughed about this and said it was the "priest" in a confessional booth and if he paws your hand, you are "absolved" from your sin! Sunflower is a big Himalayan-Siamese cat and he appears to be teaching little "Pumpkin" an adorable little rescued cat how to play the game. So, a priest in training here?

I have 3 cats. Koko is old (13 years) so he doesn't do much of anything funny anymore, unless catnip is involved. My other two cats Austin (4 years) and Circuit (1 year) are the most entertaining duo. The love to ambush each other and Circuit's favorite thing to play in are soda boxes. You know, the long "fridge pack" ones. She was the runt of her litter so they used to be quite roomy for her but now that she's filled out she will still try to fit inside the boxes but always ends up getting stuck and we have to cut the box apart to get her out. One day when I got home she had gotten herself stuck in the handle of a plastic bag she had pulled out of the trash can. Who knows how long she walked around like that but when I got home she seemed totally content to have the bag stuck around her tummy. Cats are such good stress relievers!

I had one cat who protested when we'd tell him it was bedtime. He'd say this machine-gun-sounding "Eh eh eh ehhhhh." He was 30 lbs. and would let us put Fisher Price Little People and furniture all over him as he relaxed. He also loved shoes and socks, and once I found a tennis shoe in his litter box. We had another who liked to eat lettuce and onions. I have one now who, when offered a food that she finds smelly, turns away abruptly and runs as if she's been insulted and offended. All of my cats have loved to be whistled tunes to and sung to, also. Try it... especially the whistling. I do it every time I visit an animal shelter, and most will perk up immediately.

My cat, Teemu, is 15 months old and weighs 19 lbs. The vet says he isn't fat either. He's just a BIG kitty. He's a polydactyl, meaning he has extra "toes." He does a lot of things funny. He retrieves. He sleeps on his back with his paws over his eyes. He HAS to be within 5 feet of me ALWAYS. In the mornings he wakes me up by rolling over on his back and putting his head in my hand. AND he likes black licorice. And he likes to play chase and hide and seek. He's just great!!!

My cat Tinkerbell likes to lay on top of shoes that people have just taken off. She especially likes my husband's hot, sweaty, gross-smelling shoes (he works in a lumberyard). If the shoes are warm and still smell of human feet, she'll plop herself down on them and lounge just like she's got the comfiest Lazy-Boy in the house. She's weird.
