I am 25 weeks pregnant and getting mariied to my babies father on 16Sept/06, however immigration Canada has sent him a letter to meet them on 06Sept/06, and we think they will try to send him home.

We sent in a sponsorship application but it has not started being processed as of yet. I am very sad, does anyone have suggestions?

You should be able to keep him in the US. There is a law (don't know all the details) that an immigrate is allowed to stay in the country, if they have a child in the US. It might be hard to do without the baby being born, but good luck. Immigration is a hard group to deal with.

Get married now at the Court House and have the ceremony on the 16th of Sept. Then when you go to meet them they can not send him anywhere.

I think it's true that if you get married then he can stay automatically! just run down to the local court house and get married! that's what i would do or i would go back to his country with him then come back to the states then get married or something like that! good luck on the marriage and baby!!!!

Go to the courthouse and get married now. Otherwise, the law is the law.
