im from canada and really do not know what an anchor baby is.......im afraid i have an idea......

It is a term to describe the offspring of an illegal immigrant mother who gives birth in the USA. The child having been born in the USA is deemed an American with constitutional rights. Many people use the term in a negative manner.

It's when an irresponsible illegal has free kids(well actually they are free to them and costly to Americans) to secure their citizenship. They believe that their children are automatically citizens because they were born here, but America has become smart to this low life practice and the effects of deported women and the burden of their children, not to mention the poor children! These people are the most selfish folks.

It's another way that illegal aliens take advantage of the generosity of the US government. The rights that were meant for citizens, not some damn illegal who just happened to cross the border 13 seconds before they dropped their kid. Let them all invade your country and then you tell us how to feel about it. Go on ahead, put out the invitation. Then they can leach off your free medical system while they pay no taxes. And much much more of that, trust me.
