Everybody likes the Brits.

We have a common foe - the French.

I liked being in Great Britain last summer what an experience! Scottland was some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. Going to Europe really opened my eyes to tradition and years of civilization. In America we think if something was from the 1800's it is old, but over there it is not uncommon to have structures as old as 1300 b.c (Tower of London)......Love the accent, women are beautiful, and your economy is strong. However we did run into some trouble on the 'Jack the Ripper' tour when we were in central London and was being mocked by some barhoppers that called us American freaks or whatever. We were going to beat some *** but didn't want to cause an international stir. A week after I left there the terrorist bombing happened. What a coincidence.

Well before I started on Yahoo answers it was quite high,I felt as an American we shared a kinship of a sort ,but since Ive been on here I have heard the nastiest remarks made against not only the US but about Americans and they are made primarily by the Brits. At first I thought it was an isolated remark but its not. That's very sad to me because I don't understand why. What have we done to you to make you hate us so? Now I don't know what to think of you British. You say we are arrogant and full of our selves.Whats wrong with national pride ? Don't you as British people have pride in your country? Id really like to know that too.

Altho in war you always have our back and we have yours
Im proud of that and thank you

Good soccer players. I had 4 kids last summer stayed with me for two weeks, got to watch them play. They were playing teams 2-3 years older than them, and they smoked most of them. Good kids also.
I also got to spend some time there while I was in the AIr Force. Very polite people for the most part. I've been to many countries and I think if I couldn't live in the US I would pick the UK to live.

I work with many people from the UK. I enjoy the friendly rivalry that we have. I generally like people from the UK but its just like anywhere else, you have your share of asswipes just like we do.

The UK has been Americas best friend and I am very grateful that we have allies as such. I believe that the U.S. and the U.K. will watch each others back and be there to lend a helping hand if need be. So, to answer the question, Brits rock. Just dont tell my coworkers that I said that. ;-)

A friend in need is a friend in deed. When the chips are down, I count the Brits as the only country that would go the distance with us.

I don't think the USA could have a better friend than the Brits even though we have our differences of opinion at times.

I think that Britain is probably the only country we can truly count on as an ally. The US and Britain also share a common heritage making it difficult to criticize especially since my ancestors are from England.

I like the Brits! You gave the world Monty Python's Flying Circus, and for that alone, y'all are okay in my book.
