Dammit ... where did I leave my weapons of mass destruction this morning ????

Sorry ... your question.

Holy Cow !!! Haliburton's share value quadrupled during 2002. How do you like your stock options now, Dick?

Sorry ... your question.

WTF !!! It was Saudi's that flew into the Trade Center Towers. Saudi @ssholes !!!

Sorry ... back to the question.

Wait a minute - the B2 bomber has parts made in all 50 states - that way congress won't cut the program !!! Damn - them fellas sure are smart.

OK ... back to the question.

When the president LIES to the public about the reasons for going to war, when a vast military-industrial complex compells a nation to fight (see President Eisenhouser), then people get upset.

Now, the reason folks are not as upset as during the Viet-nam war is that no draft has yet occurred. Throw in the draft with a lottery selection process (as in Vietnam) - and that would be the end of this war.

It's such a bloody kick-in-the-teeth to the amazing people of the military ... to be so under-valued by their own government. People support the military ... it's the liars in government that are disliked.

It is because most Americans do not realize what is at stake, we are in a war on terror, the problem is that a lot of Americans do not have the guts or resolve to do what is right. There have been mistakes made in Iraq but at least we took the fight there. It will be a long protracted war but civilization as we know it is at risk. If your not part of the solution then you are part of the problem.

Bush did not plan for the war. He invaded Iraq with too few men to handle the aftermath of Saddam falling, and he did not plan for when and how we would leave the country to a strong Iraqi government, free for all the factions there to work together.

Former Secretary of State M. Albright said she asked at a meeting how we would get out, and she was told they'd figure that out when the time came. Bush and his cronies had not planned the war at all. And, they still have not figured it out.

American military need more than they are receiving. And, Bush doesn't seem to give a darn

Because they have forgotten the horror of watching the Twin Towers collapse with hundreds of Americans inside. They pay no attention to news reports of terrorists trying to board planes with explosives, trying to invoke more destruction on our land. I realize no one WANTS war, but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself and protect yourself. No one is in the military that didn't voluntarily join. Do i think it's solved (or will solve all our problems)? No. But what would have happened to us as a nation if we would have just tucked tail and done nothing? We'd just be a hole on the face of the earth now.

When the U.S. went into Iraq they 'won' the war and everything was great. Know they are unable to control it and soldiers are still dying and the country is in shambles. In the long run the U.S. seems to have lost this one and it's hard for 'Joe Public' to accept that fact.

my brother has been over there a year and a half and leaves in fifteen days to come home and so many people he went over there with have died, it's horrible. Those people don't care, if they haven't caught on to what were trying to do over there by now then it's just time to get the hell out of there!!

I never saw what questions they used. Political polls are horrid for misdirection. For instance, the question they could have used was, "Are you in favor of the U.S. military killing Iraqi children?" Such polls are that misleading. The first question given by a pollster to the customer (the person/organization that wants the question asked) is, "What do you want the numbers to be?"

Slanted polls- they ask questions like:

Are you happy our soldiers are dying in Iraq?

Of course, you say NO- then they have the result they wanted.

I could ask people:
Has anything Bush done killed you?

No?- Wow, what a great approval rating my poll would have for W.
