To be honest... Id like both...
Ive always had a dog and just like him I will never let my man lick my feet! lol.. nice touch though...
It would be hard to have a family without either of them...
A man helps you to create a family and father a family and teaches you and your children...
a dog is a comforter, and protector for when the father is not home. a dog cannot provide for a family only become part of one... really, i dont think this is a relevant comparison... but nice try.. .it got me to think!

I don't know what planet you live on, but in my world I have never experienced a man: obeying me, serving me, licking my feet-eeeewwwww, he better never try, and never has a man given me security and protected me. I am 49 years old, and not once has these happened to me, even though I have had several relationships.

Most men want you to obey them, you serve them, and refuse to even put the toilet seat down much less give you security and protect you.

Sorry, but I'll take the dog.

Well dogs do love us, men use us, love us when they want to
Dogs obey us, men just do what we say to make life easy for them.
Dogs serve us, men only serve us when they want something
Dogs lick our feet because they want to, men do it because they have to.
Dogs give us security and protect us, Do i need to say any more
Not one to be biased but i perfer the DOGS.

Men do not do all of those things mentioned. That is why most women have dogs, they are LOYAL AND LOVABLE, a man is mostly only these things when he wants something, or he has been hurt so bad that he feels that is the only way to keep a woman, or it is only to get you. If it is because of how they have been treated then shame on those women. But like I said, men are not like that, so I prefer a dog!~~~~~~~

Where did you find men who
obey
serve
lick feet (GROSS!)
give security and protection??

Mine does none of these. He is a "real" man. I know he's always got my back, and I his. But I don't need his protection since I shoot & hunt as well as he does and my arrows rarely miss my target.

Husband pros: pays the bills; shovels snow; is cute in his own fluffy sort of way; knows how to fix the car which the dog can't do (yet, anyhow.)

Dog pros: more consistantly loving; always ready for having fun; stops yapping when I tell her to. . .and can be kenneled!

Husband cons: growls more than the dog; housebreaking is questionable at times; can't be sent to his crate when he's been bad.

Dog cons: sheds more than the husband; has worse breath; leaves four muddy pawprints on the white linoleum instead of just two.

I'd say it's a toss up.

My dog does not ask me whats for dinner as soon as I walk in the door, he takes care of his own dishes when he is finished eating, he does not complain if I don't feel like taking a shower and walk around the house all day in my baggy old cloths, he likes to sit with me when I am reading, he likes to go on long walks to watch the sun set....I choose the dog.

John Denver wrote the words to this song while on a ski lift:

Come let me love you,
let me give my life to you.
Let me drown in your laughter,
let me die in your arms.
Let me lay down beside you,
Let me always be with you.
Come let me love you,
Come love me again.

"Annie's Song" has become the most commonly-played song at weddings.

Sara and I sing this song to each other with tears in our eyes, meaning every word. If you have a man in your life that you feel that way about, hang onto him.

Your dog doesnt have to sing this song to you; you know that is how he feels by looking in his eyes.

Saras dog and I both feel loved. I hope you find such happiness.

Am I allowed to have both??? I love my dog, but she can't do everything my boyfriend can. And my boyfriend doesn't lick me feet. And I don't plan on licking his. If it came down to it, I'd have my boyfriend. He does more than my little Beagle anyways. And he isn't nearly as loud!
