As the question reads: In Islam why is clubbing forebidden?

hey,
i am a muslim and the reason clubbing is forbidden is because when u go clubbing men and women be on the lose, and be on the pull. Islam states that a women shouldn`t show her beauty to a man other than husband, brother or father. Also due to the cosumption of alcohol in the building it is cosidered haram. I was born and bred in the uk and yet still disagree with clubbing! i suppose were all different. Hope i helped xx

Clubbing can be associated with drinking, sex, and all other sinful activities. Ask any older folks and most of them will agree. We, young people especially in the West, dont think about it this way of course. However, people from different culture will have a different view. Asking why clubbing is forbidden is Islam is the same as asking why people in the US don't kneel down to pray every evening for hours. The answer is the same: cultural differences. I think that's something each of us should respect about other nations and people.

Because it's the most miserable religion of all. The Taliban burnt music and video tapes. Young people are forbidden to meet as they might have a little fun and eventually get married. This would steal the fun of the parents to 'arrange' it for them. The vast majority of Muslim parents have not realised that their children are independent free thinking humans.

It technically isn't. it doesn't say anything in the Koran about no clubbing. But then again it doesn't say the women have to be permanently covered up either so there you go, some people just don't like fun.

I have no idea but I do see the odd Muslim in a club at times, so its debatable.
They also say that gambling is forbidden, I am sure that was a Muslim man ahead of me buying a lottery ticket.
And they treat or have white women as mistresses because they see them as easy when they have theire Muslim wives at home in the kitchen.
And alot of the young Muslims go on like they are black or 'bad', wearing hip-hop clothes and shaving their heads to pass for mixed-race when half of them dont even like black people that again baffles me!

There is a great deal of sexual display in clubs, which Islam does not allow.

I know muslims that drink like fish,and go clubbing, I have a jewish friend who has on occasion shared a bacon sandwich with me and christian friends who eat meat on a Friday and never go to church - its all a load of old crap, people use religions to suit themselves.

They are not aloud to socialize at clubs ...because some of there cult members might show up with a explosives filled back pack...BOOM

alcohol and mixing with the oposit sex both are banned but many muslim men in western cultures still do both to the limit
