A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As
the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They
talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I
don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't
exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would
there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither
suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would allow all of
these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't
want
to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the
shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw ! a man i n the street with long,
stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and un-kempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to
the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and
I am a
barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if
they did,
there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like
that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"-- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too,
DOES exist!
What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's
why
there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

The moon is proof, also the Sun is proof, also the stars they are innumerable . Also the fact that we have lungs, eyes, breath, blood all in a perfect order set in motion by God. All the creations are proof, also These things weren't set up by some fluke, freak accident with no purpose. There is an order, and just in the fact that man cannot explain everything is proof. Also when I see the fruits and vegetables and all things which to man are good to eat that is also proof, else we might have had ugly looking food or something but God made all that so that they would be pleasing to our eye. Even tomatoes are proof that our Spiritual Father really cares about us or wants to see that we are happy, else he would have given us thorns and thistles to eat. There is proof all over the place but it is subtle and the wisdom of such things that the Creator exists isn't so apparent a lot of the times, but go ahead start observing things and then ask God himself the things you want to know and he'll tell you.

The concepts of god or 'whatever' will all be wrong -- most are just projections of what people want/think god should be like (which is why we get god behaving exactly like a human ego -- judging, loving, rewarding, punishing, etc.). The only way to find out -- direct experience when the ego/self drops away. Read '3 Pillars of Zen' for some good info ('A Course in Miracles' is a good one, too, but the 3 Pillars provides some snippets of people's enlightenment experiences).

For us, it's the knowlege put in our hungry hearts by a loving Father. In the Psalms it says the heavens prove the existence of God, but again I guess you have to see it with your heart's eyes. I believe the fact that the world is tilted at the right degree, is spinning at the right speed, etc that it shows our Creator made our world just right, like He did us. The fact that He gives us breath in our bodies, and He can withhold it and we die. That He makes clouds, rain, air, flowers, babies, those aren't accidents of nature. Those are all gifts from a loving Father. You could know the truth about whether He exists or not by getting to know Him. Look for Him, read His word, if you don't meet Him, you could always go back to being an atheist.

a worldly answer from a christian man:
There is no "proof." Proof insinuates something tangible, something you can see, feel, etc. Basically something your senses can perceive. So in this sense, there is hardly proof.
My proof and my justification for the faith, though, comes from what I see around me every day. I see sick people being healed by better science than we've ever had. I see governements being handed back over to their people. I see good coming out of bad. For you science nerds, I see the second law of thermodynamics thwarted on a daily basis. This law of science disproves the theory of macro-evolution on it's own.
The world is not perfect, never will be, but I see miracles as a proof of God in my every day life. Can I touch a miracle? No, I can't. Can I physically see "a miracle." No, can't do that either. But I can see the effects of miracles and that's all the proof I need.
As said best in "The Santa Claus" (the one with Tim Allen): "Seeing isn't believing, believing is seeing."

Just look to the sun. Someone had to put it there, and you can bet, it wasn't some big bang nor man, it would have burned out by now.
That same sun has been around since before man was even here. It's still there today. That is the same sun that we all see. There is only one sun, and yet, every living being sees it, and is warmed by it. It hasn't burned out yet. Funny how science has duplicated light, but has yet to be able to make a light bulb that never dies out. Only God could have put it there. There is no other explanation. It is the original eternal flame.
It's a ball of fire that stays lit.

There is no proof, nor indeed any possibility of a proof, either that God exists or that God does not exist. Noted Catholic theologian Hans Kung, in a huge book entitled Does God Exist, came to the same conclusion. (Of course, he chooses to believe in God because it is consistent with his life style.) Since such a proof is (provably!) impossible, one is free to believe what one pleases. I prefer to keep life simple by believing the negative.

You and me are proof. To suggest that the universe is a random construct of molecules can't explain why puppy dogs are cute. What distinguishes thinking beings from inanimate objects? Love serves no purpose, yet most people agree that its very important. Music doesn't serve a purpose yet every being enjoys some form of it. I can't prove anything. But if you open your mind and heart to God's love, it all makes sense.

The book 'The Ark on Ararat' gives even the unbelievers a tangible bit of evidence of one of the greatest historical events ever. In particular, Geo. Hagopian, gives his personal account of Noah's Ark and it's hard to believe being up in years he is looking for groupies.
