Can I make french fries in my Fry Daddy with sliced potatoes that will come out right? Soft in the middle and crispy on the outside?

Slice the potatoes, wash under cold water and dry them very very well
Fry one handfull at a time for 5 minutes.
When cold, put in them in sealed plastic bags in your freezer.

Now, whenever you need to enjoy the best French Fries, take one of the plastic bags from your freezer and fry the potatoes for 6 minutes, one handful at a time.

Add salt and season to your taste

Bon Appetit

I agree with Auntiem115. I have a Fry Daddy too. It's the greatest thing! Just watch the potatoes because they can get too brown.

Fried chicken comes out excellent. I also use the Fry Daddy to make flour tortilla bowls for taco salads.

the trick for a great french fry is to double fry them. Fry once really quickly, take out and let drain, then fry the rest of the way until done and crispy.

you can do that, or just bake it, and that way you can season them, like toss it in oil and your fave seasoning and bake til the outside is golden brown.
