1. You're here asking for advice from the general public, so that's what you're going to get. The general public includes people who have not raised their own children.

2. Just because someone has yet to fulfill their biological imperative to breed does not mean that they do not have anything of worth to add to the conversation.

3. Some people who are not parents have either learned something from their own parents' successes, learned something from their own parents' mistakes, helped someone else to raise or mentor a child, studied psychology and/or child development. In addition, some possess something commonly referred to as common sense.

How can you tell who is a parent and who is not? I know plenty of people with no children who are wise and knowledgable in this subject, and plenty of parents who, even with the experience, do not have a clue...

I don't have any biological kids of my own, but I've raised (or help raised) 5 kids in my lifetime. I think that's plenty of experience right there. :) Plus I'm older and wiser than most.

You don't have to be a parent to give parental advice. The rest of us have been around annoying children in restaurants whose parents are to lazy to do anything about it.

If you are a parent, stop telling those of us who are that we have to have children. And make your kids behave when they are out in public.
