I guess I might need to lose a little bit of weight, but are my measurments healthy, because they are proportioned well? They are 48-37-48.

Sorry, no 207 lbs is not healthy for someone who's 5'8". I'm not trying to be the bad guy here, but I'm just telling you the truth. Sorry. =( I know it's become kinda the trend of the moment that "big is beautiful." But I think healthy is beautiful.

You mentioned lean muscle mass in another question. Well unless you are competing for Miss Universe, there's still no way you could weigh that much and still be in the healthy zone. Do what's best for your body. Decades of science tells us that what would be best is to lose some weight.

Don't fall victim to the current pop sub-culture like so many other obese women have (of late). They decide to make excuses for themselves instead of recognizing that they have an over-eating problem. But excuses won't keep away the diabetes and heart attacks...

P.S. I think what Epicarus (below) had to say was good. But I want to correct something. I'm not sure what BMI chart he was looking at, but the actual range for "normal" weight should be extended by 10 pounds on each end.

In other words, a healthy weight for someone 5'8" could be anywhere between 120 and 160... not between 130 and 150.

Proportion isn't relevant to whether you're healthy or not. Weight however does. To little or too much is unhealthy. An average woman that's 5'8'' should probably be within the 130-150 range ( a bit more is okay if you have a "meaty" body type). I'd say you're definitely overweight. If you're worried about you're health, please go see a doctor and if you decide to loose weight, do it the sensible way. Forget about fad diets or pills. Just quit the junk food, eat whole wheat products, grains, lean meats, fish and oodles of fruits and vegetables, and do cardio workout for at least half an hour, 4 times a week. You'll start feeling better right away and in a few months you'll also look better, guaranteed!

Even tho your proportions are nice, your weight it a bit too much. At 5'8" your ideal weight should probably fall in the range of about 150 lbs. There are many websites to guide you and many healthy diets suggested in these sites. If and when you decide to go on a diet, please be sure it is a nutritious one and not a fad crash diet. Good luck.

Mesurements are nice but you already know you need to lose some. Here is what I suggest, and you will be gorgeous in 6 months.

Change your lifestyle and do this forever. Drink lots of water, walk an hour every day except 1 then do stretching and upper body toning. Eat fruits & vegetables.

No sugar
No sodas
No candy
No chips
No potatoes
No pasta
No pizza
no corn
no bread
no burgers
no fried foods

Good Luck

Remember we all have different measurments, what's right 4 u may not be right 4 others. But if u feel fine with yours there is no need to lose weight.

You got a hefty hourglass figure. Your proportions are good, but we know that itsn't all that people will look at to determine if your healthy or not.

I think you are a bit hefty. Perhaps you should consider exercise and dieting. I noticed you did not mention your weight, that would be helpful in answering your question.

Maybe a bit on the big side. Sounds okay other than that. Looks (by the numbers) like you have big hips and big boobs. Some guys dig that.....
