she tried inpatient. the dr there told her that it is probably the worst environment for her to be in, and that she was likely to leave worse off than she went in.

Yes and continue to dig around you will find someone that will help you out, instead of bouncing you back and forth between doctors.

Someone with all of those disorders needs to have inpatient hospitalization and someone supervising their care 24/7/365! If this person keeps getting bounced from one person to the next it could very likely contirbute to a life threatening situation.

If theres a problem with the medical professionals providing care, report them to the state medical board.

I think that it's pretty much impossible for a person to develop all of these conditions within a short period of time, so that might suggest that she has been having problems for a while. I think the best thing a person who cares about here can do is just be there for her and listen with a caring, loving ear.

Maybe telling her this quote will help:

"Anyone can be negative, that's easy. But it takes effort to be positive."

A very special teacher of mine once told me that.

Yes she needs treatment from a psychiatrist and therapist who understand these disorders. she may need inpatient and or group therapy as well to become stabilized. Also please find a support system for yourself as well. If her counsellor doesn't know how to treat her then maybe her psychiatrist can reccomend one who will. Hang in there.

Aw come on, you KNOW that she needs help.

The question is, why is she being "bounced" by different therapists?
