We our working on a mailing list and are finding it difficult to keep track to duplicates, etc., as the list has grown to over 10,000 entries and it is only going to get larger. Does anyone know of any good mailing list management software?

We have been using access as our primary way of storing data. I am more specifically looking for something to find and remove duplicates.

Wow, I researched this a few months ago for the non profit I volunteer at. It seems that most mailing lists incur a monthly charge. The only one that allowed the purchase of the software was through Raiz Labs (link below). I think the PHP lists is free but difficult to set up. You might also check out www.Freelists.org .

Its been awhile but I will give you all of the links I book marked and let you do your own searching.

EDIT: I have not implemented or used any of these programs but if I did, Raiz Labs would be my choice. I also do the updating for my non profits website and it looks like with that program you can send HTML and or Plain Text Newsletters. Final Note: I would be leary about using free e mail lists where you have to give your e mail lists to a company. There were some popular free sites back in the day that sold their e mail lists to spammers.

Microsoft Access is good for mailing lists. It can also prevent duplicates if you can come up with a good way to give each entry a unique ID.

Access has good filtering tools also. For example, say you only want to send something to people located in a certain city, or females only, or people named John, etc.
