A source for what? Are you writting a paper on the bible? Than yes you would cite it as a source. If you are writing a paper on science or math than no you can't site the bible as a source.

The Bible does site a source. That source is the trinitarian God. Unfortunatly, we can't see whether the source is crediable, because God is a being we can't quantify, so it comes down to faith.

Can it be sited? Yes, it's morals, histories, prophecies, etc. can be sited just like any other volume.

No it can't be considered a factual source. It is simply a book written by men thousands of years ago and therefore is not a credible source. I can be used however as a source for morals or stories, but nothing factual.

Of course it can be, and is, cited as a source. Literature gets its validity often from the sensibility of its assertions, and not always from its conformity to the protocols of academia.

You're mistaken: it has God for a source. It says so. It cites its source constantly, all throughout - "...then God said:"

You should read it more.

God bless you.

I would say YES comsidering it is like one of the oldest books known to man. Also a large part of the world believes in it so that should be credible enough.
