Not taking shots, but i figure most of the Religious Right will react like they did when Harry Potter sold more copies than the Bible and they yelled at me when i was trying to buy Chomsky (who's number 8, by the way...score) in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I also figure that Christians would be ok with Shakespeare being higher on the list. He was gay, but at least he wasn't a Communist, right guys?

Marx said "God is dead." God says, "Marx is dead."

I hear Marx quoted more than Lenin; definitely more than the Bible. I even live across the street from the Catholic Church. Biblical answers to the problems that we daily face are not enough to feel comfortable with life. Quotes from the the Bible are like from a dream like life of Utopia. Marx and Lenin tell it like it is. We only have to look at our present political system to know that we are headed toward a socialistic regime or a dictatorship. With the new home land security laws we are living in the same time as when Hitler was in power. They came come in the middle of the night and haul you off to a federal pen never to be heard from again. So I think you should have included bush to Hitler. The only difference is their age and one came from Austria and one from texas.

I don't see what the point is. Of course stuff is quoted and sold more than the Bible. The Bible itself tells us that the world would drift away from an awareness of their spiritual needs. IT doesn't mean the Bible isn't true, and doesn't bother me because I knew it.

Communism isn't bad, just poorly executed. And Marx and Lenin were recent, and thusly moderate relevant.
