Take vegetarian protein like lentil, soya.
Reduce animal protein with too much fat use lean or white meats (turkey or chicken).
If you like sea food. That would be very good source of proteins that is lean and fish protein is also good for reducing the cholesterol.

Any lean meat, fish, chicken, cheese, eggs - nothing is off limits in a nutritionally balanced diet - NOTHING, including chocolate. Weight gain comes from too much food and too little exercise. So, eat a nutritionally balanced diet and get some exercise and keep doing so. Not only will you slowly lose weight, you will KEEP it off.
