I've asked all of my friends and family at home, and they can't decide (or more likely, just don't CARE*grin*) and neither can I. So I decided to put the internet to good use and ask a bunch of complete strangers to choose a hair style for me. THAT makes a bunch of sense, right?

Here it is: I think I want bangs ('fringe' for you Brits *grin*) like this, except slightly shorter and choppier: http://www.askmen.com/women/galleries/singer/alanis-morissette/picture-1.html, but I'm not sure. That's me in my avatar, so you have a pretty good idea of what I look like. I just want a new hair style! I'm getting ready to start my first post-college job, I'm newly single--so I feel like all of this calls for a new hair style.

I couldn't get the link to work, but speaking from experience, I would NOT get bangs. Every time I have done that I like them for about a week and then they just turn into a pain in the butt. I always end up wanting to grow them out right away. I do, however, really like the way they look, and maybe you are one of the lucky ones who is able to handle having bangs... if so, go for it!

I regreted getting my bangs, when I did. Most people do, because it depends what you look like in them. Not everyone looks good in them though too. My hair was thin and flyaway when I had bangs, running around, I'd have them flying everywhere. It's really annoying. I'm growing out my hair long curly and shiny. I just wanted everything the same width, then eventually get nice layers. Easier to deal with, not worrying about bangs flying. They're grown out now alittle thank god!

I like the way your hair is now. I couldn't get to the link, so I don't know what the bangs you want look like. However, I'd suggest some side bangs - those would look really nice for your face shape. Good luck!

bangs can be fun, but aren't anymore if you decide to grow them out!! try on some wigs and see how you feel about it......i'm middle aged and have had bangs for about 10 years, little feathery jobs that i like to wear to the side with a little gel. have fun with your new hair style, your new job, and your single status!!

bangs are always real cute. side bangs with choppy layers?--adorable but the bad thing about bangs are that the oils from your hair always get in your skin with could cause acne so if you do deside to get them use a head band to pull your hair back when you sleep

If I were you I would get a face frame cut with whispy bangs that you can sweep to the side. I would also take a straightening iron to it to help bring out some shine and take out the bulk.

The link didn't work for me, but from the pic in your profile, I say no bangs. Like someone else said, try straightening your hair, and maybe go with some layers to give it shape.

Bangs look flirty and girlish, which could make you more youthful looking to guys, but lang and sleek is in also. If you can't decide, just get loong bangs that you tuck away if yuo feel like it
