I think it's right. God, Thor, Zeus, Neptune, Isis, Flying Spaghetti Monster. They all belong together in a class that isn't science.

Like someone else said, do you teach about Darwin at church? Church isn't for science lessons and science isn't for faith based lessons.

If we treat creationism as science then we should probably consider treating all of the world's current and past creation myths as science, too. I wonder how people would take the teaching that a bird with black wings (Nyx) created earth by laying a golden egg (according to the Greek creation 'myth' - sorry if I offend anyone who thinks we need to teach Greek Creation Science).

I really don't care. Just because they teach some things doesn't mean you stupidly and blindly buy into it and go, "duh....evolution or God or Greek philosophy must be right just cuz I learned it in school...duh." People can think for themselves out side of school and figure out what they believe in and what life they choose to follow.

No, I don't think it's right and here's why. Evolution is not scientific fact, it is still only a THEORY. (whip out your science books and you'll see that I'm right!) Since it is not a fact and cannot be proven, just as Creation can't be proven, I think they should be both taught in a religion or mythology class.

Creationism is also taught in the theology department; where it belongs.

It is relevant to note that there is no Proof for Atheistic Macro*Evolution.

If Myth = something without Proof --
then Atheistic Macro*Evolution = Myth.

Cordially,
John
