I know what you mean!! It's so silly. I see people signaling right in the right turning lane, and I'm behind them thinking, "no sh*t!" On the road, when they SHOULD signal, they don't! One of my major peeves is people who don't signal, especially when pulling out onto the road from their parking spot. USE YOUR SIGNALS!!

Look at it how you like, and of course so many perfect "what wanker" drivers condemn others for indicating.
Being seen for what your intentions are is better than sitting there while maybe someone doesn't notice.
You may be behind a driver in a turn right lane where all the signs are visable. Oncoming traffic may not see the markings as they also have things to look for and the car is on them so what harm can it do. Might help prevent you getting hit by a confused motorist or other.
Have some patience and let live. Being considerate maybe overdone but at least it is just that, considerate.

UK: The rules are that when approaching a roundabout, if turning left you indicate left. If going straight through (2nd exit) you do not indicate until you pass the first exit, then indicate left. If you are turning right (3rd exit), you indicate right approaching the roundabout, as you pass the second exit, you indicate left. If going completely around the roundabout, on approach, you indicate right until you pass the 3rd exit, then indicate left.
Nearside lane for left turn or straight through, right lane for straight ahead or right turn.............. hope it helps............

You'll never believe what my friend did today! She was driving along a quiet road and there was horse s*** on the left-hand side of the road that she wanted to avoid, so she INDICATED to drive round it! I thought she did it as a joke, but she seriously thought she needed to!!

Indicating is`nt just for other motorists! It`s also for pedestrians so they know what actions the motorist is about to take. Personally, I don't think motorists indicate often enough!
