do you think that G-d was mistaken for choosing Jews as His Chosen People? You think that He is that indecisive? And He can see in the future, so don't say that He didn't know that Jews were going to reject Je sus.

Who said that G-d didn't know that the Jews would reject Jesus? He knew and it is recorded in many places in the old and new testaments.
Perhaps it would help if you read Isaiah 53.

I wouldn't ever say to God that He was "mistaken" over anything. To be honest, I have asked, why did you pick them??? Especially after reading their history in scripture. They were constantly turning away from God, and then in a panic, turning back. This went on for centuries!

Ah well....they are they chosen people and that's fine with me. I am grafted into the vine by my faith in Jesus...and one day God will deal with Israel again. They will come to know that Jesus truly is their Messiah. Some do now, actually, very few, but I rejoice most of all for them.

Doesn't God tell us that He chooses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise?
Perhaps He chose the Jews as the best example of human weakness He could find.
What matters is that God chose to come to earth in human flesh...doesn't matter at all what brand the flesh might have been, really, what matters is the Spirit that is wrapped up inside.
Come to think of it, isn't that true of all of us??

God doesn't make mistakes. He is all knowing and all powerful. Think about it, if He is truley all knowing, He knew what was going to happen here on Earth. Then, if He knew, why did He do it? I don't know - I'm waiting for Him to come back and tell us all this stuff that doesn't make sense.

G-d was not mistaken in choosing the Jews.

He knew that many Jews would accept Jesus (e.g., see http://www.JewsForJesus.org).

Cordially,
John
