1. Buy a pedometer and make sure you walk at least 10,000 steps a day.

2. Drink lots of water.

3. Write down everything you eat and record the calories eaten and the calories burned.

4. Use simple household objects to do some basic weight lifting at home.

5. Always use the stairs, never the elevator or escalator.

6. Park at the back of the parking lot rather than close to the door.

7. Always eat breakfast.

Best of luck with it.

"Seeing a nutritionist" doesn't mean you're REALLY eating the right things. Write down EVERYTHING you eat for a week and you might be surprised.

You could try walking. Start out slowly for 15 minutes a day and build up. Keep your heart rate in the "fat burning" range (which, contrary to what many people think, is a rather slow pace.) Drink plenty of water. Eliminate things like fruit juice and eat whole fruit instead. Don't add butter or oil to your foods. When you eat out, substitute a steamed veggie for whatever the starch is in the meal (potato, rice, or pasta). Don't eat bread. Order salads with the dressing on the side.

You could try joining Weight Watcher's for some support. I joined on line and have lost quite a bit of weight following the diet.

You are not going to lose weight by eating properly. In order to lose weight you need to be exercising more calories than you are eating. If you are not going to make exercising a priority than you are not going to lose weight.

Have you tried Curves? You only need to doi t three times a week for a half an hour a day. In one month I lost ten inches combined.

Hi
Try this simple plan it really worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good luck

Try the Souper Soup Diet at lillieross.com. You can sign up to receive the diet for free & they will also email you diet tips M-Th each week. This diet really works...I have used it several times; especially when I wanted to lose fast. (I did not exercise at all and lost 37 lbs last year)

or

Try the Fiber One Diet:
1 bowl of Fiber One cereal 3xday (breakfast, lunch & dinner)with skim milk (I use fat free Lactaid)
1 tv dinner (400 calories or less) for dinner
Drink 64 ozs water (drink plenty water or the fiber will constipate you)
Exercise 30 minutes each day
Note: This diet keeps you very regular (bms)

GOOD LUCK!

If you're very much overweight diet alone will not fix your problem. You need to exercise to get your metabolism going. You can at least go on walks or get work-out DVD's.

Proper nutrition and exercise. You can go for walks or something, you don't have to go to the gym.

You must try a diet or exercises in your home. Alimentary reeducation is the best choice for you.

won't work w/out excercise, it's the key component to weight loss. Basic math equation-burn more than you take in.
