Try a restraining order. That usually is straight and too the point. I mean seriously. Constantly calling is a form of harrassment and some guys need a big rock to the head to get through to them. Also change your number and don't give him the new number.

I have had the same situation previously. I went to the precinct and filed a harassment report and they gave him a warning not to contact me in any way and not to have anyone he knows contact me or he would be arrested. You should do that because the situation can get worse and you can get hurt, then at least there will be a report on it and they would lock him up.

don't tell him to his face all mean and quick, that hurts us... we have feelings too.
I think you should take a chance and the next time he calls you should talk to him about how he would feel if you started goin' with another guy. most the time we will understand and then you are free, just like you wanted.

You are going to have to tell him face-to-face, not on the phone, not by writing notes to him, and not by telling your friends to tell him. This is between you and him, so tell him with a straight face and let your yes be yeses and your no's be no's and tell him why you don't want to be wit him. Don't second guess yourself. You can do it. Trust me I had the same problem too. It worked too.

Let him catch a glimpse of you in a parked car down some dark street. That'll pretty much end it.

Sometimes, oblique hints just don't work. Have you tried telling him exactly that in plain english? "I don't want to go out with you again, stop calling me"
