no, i dont have any friends but that's because av got schizophrenia and am a lesbian. tough combination apparently. i do reek of garlic like, but if you eat it yourself, you don't notice the smell on other people.

why garlic? like i say, it gives me a hit, it has an aphrodisiac effect on me.

I think it must be, my sons dog is hooked on it, if he smells the garlic in the cooking he starts panting and begging!!!!!!

It is possible to become addicted to anything.
Be careful. Although garlic is less likely to cause you any physiological problems, when it becomes a problem for other people, or you rely on it for comfort and stablility, then you should cool it a bit.

naturopath michael van straten is a big fan of garlic for clearing capilliaries of sludge although he advised taking kwai garlic in capsule form to get rid of the smell;if you locate his site and email him i am sure he would be interested in your comments-good luck wiht the schizophrenia and i dont see any reason why you can't live a full life

I love the taste as well, but not the way it makes my breath smell, so I only eat it if I know I'm going to be able to brush my teeth, gargle or chew gum shortly afterwards!!

Yes its possible to get addicted to garlic. do take note dont eat extreme quanties of it, it can poison you

everything can be additive wether it is mental or physical garlic is not going to hurt you! eat away

that sounds kinda silly to me....
it maybe an extream infatuation with it. but i dont know that any one could get ADDICTED to garlic...
