"diablo sandwich"? I have googled this, and only see ads for a sandwich toaster.

A diablo sandwich is a hot link on a piece of bread with hot sauce smothering it. It's rather tasty too!

well hum ,theres to many answers across the net ta make argument,but we used ta have a booth at the county fairs (funding Rescue squad and Fire Dept.) we made a very large pot of fresh hamburger meat and Homemade hot sauage(Ground) onions and Very secret spices ,put in on a Kasier Roll for 1.50 and called it a" Diablo " ,not bragging but had folks backed up tell we ran out ingrediants ,this was before Sheriff justice and Smokey and bandit,,and all ingrediants in those days were very fresh

think taco on a bun taco meat ground beef taco seasoning lettuces tomato onion < or not if you don't like all on a bun at least that is what they made on the show on CMT when they showed the Smoky and the Bandit movie by the other things I found you could pretty much take a deuce on some kind of bread and call it the same thing but I'm sticking with the Taco meat myself

Pulled pork and Trappey s MEXI-PEP hot-sauce in a hamburger bun. (This was a real menu offering in some Hickory House Resturaunts, on of which was used as a film location-shoot for the movie.
(It is NOT a Sloppy Joe.)
