I don't know about cold all year round, but the Snowy mountains in Victoria is cold from about June to October. They have snow and all those snow sports if that's what your after. You might want to avoid Queensland, Northern territory and Western Australia if you want cold, but most places in Victoria can get very chilly in winter.

The coldest area in Australia would be Tasmania. There are lots of beautiful thing in Australia. we have desert, tropical rain forest, snowy fields, cute animals like koalas & much much more.

if you prefer cooler temps Tasmania is probably the best choice. Melbourne has a quick summer and is mostly cool, but if youre looking for COLD all year NO CHANCE, go a bit more south and try Antartica.......
