I've been shaving my head now with a razor for about a week. I took a mirror and in the back of my head, beside an obvious mole there's this raised red thing. It's slightly painful but it doesn't seem to be acne. I actually have two of them. My theory is that is was maybe a raised mole that I sliced with the razor? have alook for yourself http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a207/psx1337/Photo55.jpg ... you'll have to flip the image

It looks like raised moles to me.

If you continue shaving, just be careful.

There ingrown hairs your heads not used to being shaved this is a common thing for people that start shaving hair that they usually don't shave I would suggest using some shaving cream that's made for irritation and ingrown trust me they'll go away sooner or later

As a hairstylist myself, I'm thinking maybe you might have hurt you scalp while using the razor. I think it's just bruises but I would see a doctor if I was you. I looked at your pic and it looks 2 me that you just scraped 2 close 2 the scalp.

Dude, it looks exactly like the moles on the back of your neck. Yep, you probably nicked them when you shaved your head. Try putting a bit of neosporin on them and watch em carefully. Strongly suggest getting a tan on your head too.. :o)

I can't pull up your picture but my guess would be an ingrown hair. Research this and I am sure it will be the same. This is common to close shaving.
